Biographie :
Richard Hatch est né le 21 Mai 1945 à Santa Monica, en Californie (USA). Depuis tout jeune, Richard n'a jamais pensé être acteur, et s'était tourné dans le sport, où il voulait être sauteur à la perche.

Sa carrière débute avec le rôle du Capitaine Apollo de 1980 dans « Galactica ». Suite à la courte série, et cela durant environ 10 ans, il soutiendra beaucoup d'organismes et deviendra un grand communicateur pour aider les personnes du monde entier.

En 2004, il revient dans « Battlestar Galactica » (la nouvelle série) pour y incarner Tom Zarek.
